Amit Mehra, currently a Managing Director at Accenture, was a Designated Member at Scotchstone Capital LLP between 3 August 2009 and 26 July 2018.

In addition to his role at Scotchstone Capital, Amit was a founder and Managing Director of Reuters Market Light (RML), a part of the Reuters Group employing 300 poeple and providing a highly personalised information service over mobile phones to millions of Indian farmers across 18 states in India.

Before his roles mentioned above, Amit was a Vice President in the Reuters Content Group, where he co-managed various ventures and transactions in the TMT space. Amit started his career at IGEP, a trade and investment development initiative of the German government in India.

Among his other activities, Amit was a member of Reuters Advisory Board for Corporate Responsibility and a Business Angel for the Creative Entrepreneurs Programme of the British Council in London. He lectured on corporate finance, international trade and strategic innovation at various institutions, including London Business School and Cambridge University. In 2013, Amit was honoured as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Amit holds an MBA degree from London Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, India.

Amit is an Indian national and speaks fluent Hindi, in addition to English.
